What's going on?
This coming year, I have chosen to pursue God's will in Jerusalem from September 2023 to August 2024. Bridges for Peace, an international nonprofit organization, has granted me an opportunity to live there as a volunteer. To get there, I need your support, both prayer and financial! What's happening NOW?
It seems the days are flying by! One more month till I board a plane to Jerusalem. I have been quite stressed preparing for this big change. Despite feeling a tad overwhelmed, I am overjoyed to hear from many of you who wish to support me. Your prayers and donations have not only put my mind at ease, but made me more aware of how I am truly blessed. Goodbyes will be hard, but I hope to stay connected with friends and family back home. This website will be a main way you can keep updated with my news!
Packing for a 11 month trip feels impossible. My bags surely will be stuffed. I have not started yet, but the task seems insurmountable. I know I will be ordering certain items when I arrive. Taking in account the amount of sunscreen I use here in Kansas, I can only imagine how much I need there in the Middle East. I trust God will give me what I need. Please pray for my peace of mind as I embark on this journey.

My "To-Do-List" seems to grow with each passing day. Happily, I am very close to crossing off a huge item on the list! I will earn my pilot's license in August. I currently have all the requirements I need to take the checkride! Getting my pilot's license has been a big goal of mine this summer. I have been blessed with great instructors and supporters within the aviation community here in McPherson, KS! In short, I want to earn my wings before I fly away!
